Biography
Giuseppe Gagliano is a Corleone native resident, the son of Gioachino Gagliano and Antonina Guarneri. His parents' full names appear in both of his marriage records.
Don Giuseppe marries twice, first to Caterina Provenzano, daughter of the late Nicolo’ Antonino Provenzano and the living Pascha Maringo, and widow of Mariano Frisella, on 31 January 1788 in Corleone. His father has died.[1]
Don Giuseppe remarries to Donna Grazia Gennaro, daughter of the notary Don Girolamo Gennaro and Donna Anna de Paolo, on 19 May 1800 in Corleone. This record calls his first wife Caterina Frisella. His mother is still living.[2]
Don Giuseppe has died by 1817, when Donna Grazia remarries.[3]
