I have research that has been done by my parents, from as long ago as the 1960's. Most of the information on my tree comes from that research.
I was born on 27th August 1958 in Willington Quay Maternity Home near North Shields. I was christened at Saint Augustin church, North Shields. For the first 6 months of my life I lived with my parents and my maternal grandparents at 26 Edith St Tynemouth.
We then moved to 41, Lindisfarne Terrace.
I went to King Edwards infant school, Christ Church primary School and later Linskill High School. I then went to Tynemouth Sixth Form College and later Sheffield City Polytechnic.
I married William Wilson on 11th July 1881 at Christ Church North Shields. We split up in 2000 and divorced in 2006
I worked at North Tyneside College in Wallsend as a Refectory Manager, then for North Tyneside Council as a Training Officer in School Meals.
My children, twins Bill and Steven were born in 1991 and while they were growing up I worked for Malvern Cooling Services Ltd, a company set up by my husband and a friend Cliff Gills.
When the company went into administration, I began temporary work at Proctor and Gamble, then Northumbria University until finally finding permanent work at Global Navigation Solutions in North Shields.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
