William Fullerton was born in 1705 in County Tyrone, Ireland. His parents were William Fullerton and Jennett (Beath) Fullerton and were of Scotch-Irish descent. In 1728 the family emigrated to New England; their ship was originally destined for Philadelphia, but due to bad weather it stopped at the mouth of the Kennebec River in Maine instead. They settled in Boothbay[1].
The name of William's wife is unknown, but there are records for their children[1]:
William's date of death is uncertain, as there was no record of his death and his tombstone has been lost. In 1763 he purchased a plot of land in Boothbay, so he was alive at least until then[1].
