Could you please add me to the Trusted List for the profile below that you manage as this is required before I can change an error in her Last Name at Birth (LNAB) ….
Magdalene Elisabeth (Rotze) Vonhoff (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Rotze-1)
I have done some in-depth research on Magdalene in the Hamburg Archives and have confirmed she only received the surname Roze (not Rotze) at the age of 3 at her baptism on 12 April 1874 following her parent’s marriage that same day… Her LNAB was in fact her mother’s surname Ulrich because she was unmarried at the time.
Thanks for your help.
Regards, Ian
Brenda - I have set up a Facebook page Yesterday "Descendants of Caroline and Christian Friederich SCHMALING migrated 1862" If you are a FB user you might care to have a look - The group is in its infancy
Thank you Brenda! I have been working on the Family History for a couple decades now. I have information gathered from Denkendorf, Germany dating to 1511, but I need to verify much of it. I have not gotten to to branch yet of which Christian Epple is a part. This does give me something to work on. Are you a descendant or just someone dedicated to Genealogy? Again, Thank you for the input.
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
