Hi Russ,

I am a Frizzell by birth and have been researching my Frizzell line since 2001. I noticed your picture and realized you and my brother look alike. Since there are no Frizzell DNA projects, I have to rely on Gedmatch and the Fraser project. Do you happen to have a gedmatch kit#? I have 2 kits. My Frizzell's hailed from Maryland/Virginia, Adair Co., Kentucky, and Missouri. I grew up in Ohio.

Dear Marianne,

Its great to meet you. My family is in Michigan, I live in Texas now. I don't do DNA. My ancestors are from Maryland and spread out all over. The Wikitree will show you who they all are, I wish it were more user friendly. Begin by adding the family you know best and connect them to people who are already included on Wikitree and you will find you are related to everyone, everybody is. Cheers, Russ

Hi Russ, How did you find Asbury as middle name for Jacob A. McCain?

Hi Karen,

Well findagrave says Asbury so I presumed it was correct. Choosing which data to trust is difficult to be sure. Cheers! Russ

Hi, Russ

At WikiTree, we aim to protect the privacy of all living individuals for their protection and in line with data protection legislation.

WikiTree has excellent privacy controls, but that won’t protect you and your family if you publish your personal information or the information of your living family members in your biography, Communications section, or on the profiles of others.

Since WikiTree is a public website, I suggest you remove references to dates, locations, or living individuals from your biography, or communication section, or comments.

Hi Russ,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!

It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
