Biography
(James) Franklin French was born November 17, 1856, a son of a William Franklin French and his first wife, Martha Catherine Petitt. In 1883, he married Ann Elizabeth Williams (1860-1898). They had three known children: Clara (1884-1999) and twins who died at birth in 1885. After Ann passed away, Franklin married, in 1900, Rosa Burky (1859-1935); there are no known children from this union.
Franklin died March 21, 1934 and was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Billings, Christian County, Missouri.
