John Freeman is a part of US Black heritage.

In the 1900 census John (age 17) was the single son of Mary N Freeman in Ransom Township, Columbus, North Carolina, United States.[1] John (age 19) married Hattie J.E. Blanks (age 21) on 9 August 1902 in Columbus, North Carolina, United States.[2] John's wife Hattie died in childbirth when she delivered a stillborn son[3] Hattie died on 9 March 1914 in Columbus, North Carolina, United States.[4] John died one year later leaving their children orphans who his parents raised [5]
