Biography

Robert Mortimer "Mort" Frayn was born on 3 May 1906^[1] in Faulk, South Dakota, USA. He was the son of James Newton Frayne and Margaret Waterman.

He married Helen Elvira Carlson on 9 October 1931 in King, Washington.^[2] They had two children together: Suzanne A Frayn and Robert M Frayn.

He was a Republican politician who served from 1947 - 1957 and was the 30th Speaker of the Washington House of Representatives.^[3]

He passed away on 1 August 1993 in King, Washington^[1] and is buried in the Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Lake Forest Park, King, Washington.^[4]
