It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Southern Colonies Project. As we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.
We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to their ancestors. If this is the case for you, please let us know.
If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.
Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

My sister's mother-n-law, whom is an avid genealogist, stumbled upon my husband Rodger's direct connection to John Rolfe and Pocahontas. My lineage might be pretty intriguing, but chasing 'Fanny' Bolling has been very exciting to say the least. Finding out that we cannot find her birth records in the US because she was born in England was a major breakthrough today. Red Bollings.... WOW!!!!
You know? It's one thing to read about history, but to find that you, specifically, are blood related to it is an entirely different exhilaration if I do say so myself. Thanks again for reaching out! - Wendy Frank-Dove
Thank you for reaching out - hope I am not too late to return to the Southern Colonies Project.
On behalf of the US Southern Colonies Project leaders, I am doing a six-month check-in with members to see what aspects of the project interest them most.
1) We would like the number of contributions you have made in the last two months (May and April) to Southern Colonies?
2) We would like to know if you have joined other Southern Colonies Subprojects, such as Southern Pioneers Project. Or have you worked on other subprojects?
3) Your activity in Southern Pioneers Project.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential. See: Project FAQ.
Based on your contributions, I suggest: US Southern Colonies Project, leaders are Paula J and Mags Gaulden or use the List: Pre-1700 Projects list to see other

We've made a change in how the tutorials are sent to new members. Instead of weekly messages you can now work at your own pace, so this is the last message.
How is it going so far? Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

It's time for your next stop on the guided tour!
This week, we'd like to show you How to Join in the Community. There's no shortage of opportunities to get involved through social media, our forum, and projects.
Be sure to check out the One Name Studies Project to see if anyone has started a project for one of the surnames in your family. Don't see one? Follow the instructions for starting your own!
Questions?, Just ask!! :-)
PS. Some email accounts do display the link, if so please view here on your personal page.

Welcome to this wonderful site ! I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Hope you had lots of fun reading "How to Start Climbing Our Tree". I would be happy to answer any relevant questions you have, please feel free to ask!

Our G2G forum is a great way to get to know our community! Join the fun with our Question of the Week: Were any of your ancestors involved in the American Indian Wars?
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.
Thanks for becoming part of our shared WikiTree!

WikiTree is different from other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person. That means we will all share ancestors and work together as a collaborative team! The Honor Code helps keep everything functioning smoothly as we work on our SHARED tree.
You should have received an email with links you can use to get started. Once you confirm your email address, you'll have an option to volunteer to add information to WikiTree. Begin with tags for your own profile. Tags are surnames, locations, concepts, etc. in which you're interested.
When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add to the tree!
We're really glad you're here!
