Oldest daughter of C. T Foster and Florence Foster born one year after the aliens landed in Roswell, NM. Married in 1967, three grown children and 11 grandchildren.
Associate degree at Shasta Junior College. Work experience includes fire hose loom operator , motel maid, laundry and motel supervisor, volunteer Little League Coach, newspaper columnists and 10 year treasurer for TOPS chapter in my area .
Religious but not a church attendee. Live in a mobile home park where we own our home, but pay rent on the space. At this writing (February 25, 2015) my mom lives with my husband and self. She moved in almost three years ago due to poor health.
I knit, crochet, use the computer for various hobbies including family history.
Every Tuesday morning I attend a TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meeting where I have been a member since 2003. I have lost pounds and regained pounds . It is a group of wonderful ladies which have become a "second" family. Elected as Treasurer for the past 10 years ...As of 2020 I have been weight recorder in this chapter.
Grew up on a farm of 10 acres since I was 10 and loved it. Met and married my one and only husband in summer of 1967 and we married Dec. 1, 1967 at his parent's home under an archway that was built into the home already. ( His parent's designed and built the home themselves ) . First five years of marriage was various homes, various jobs and various places, but we came home to Shasta County to raise our children .
Updating: Wayne passed away Sept. 17, 2021 and now I am a widow but still have my mom living with me. As of this update I became a great grandma in Nov. 2019 to my oldest grandson Jon and his wife Shelby. In Dec of 2021 my grandson Cody and wife Jessica gave birth to Tucker .
