Isabel Nancy Forsyth was born in 1839 in New Minas, Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Elijah Forsyth (1809–1881) and Martha Anne Woodman (1817–~1884).
Isabel (17) married Lawson Andrew Griffin (27) (born in June, 1829 in Gaspereau Mountain, Kings) on March 22, 1857 in Wolfville, Kings.[1]
In 1871, Isabel (31) was living in Wolfville, Kings with her husband, Lawson (38); her brother, Marshall (2); and Isabel Griffin (32), Frederick Griffin (13), Vernon Griffin (12), Laura Griffin (10), George Griffin (8), Martha Griffin (7), Albert Griffin (5), and Maggie Griffin (3). [2]
In 1881, Isabel (41) was living in Nova Scotia with her husband, Lawson Griffen (51); and Isabel Griffen (42), Annie Griffen (24), Frederic Griffen (23), Laura Griffen (21), George Griffen (19), Martha Griffen (17), and Albert Griffen (15). [3]
Isabel died in 1891 in New Minas, aged 51.[4]
