Biography

Orilla was born in 1847 in New York. Research note: all US Censuses except 1880 have New York as place of birth. 1880 has Canada.

She married Reuben Rowley on New Year's Eve, 1866 in Pine Rock, Ogle, Illinois. The next day he left to join his unit in the Civil War. He never returned home as he succumbed to small pox on 9 FEB 1865 in a hospital in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee. (U.S., Find A Grave Index, 1700s-Current; Ancestry.com: Find A Grave Memorial# 3169025)

She married John Randolph Petrie on 31 Dec 1868 in Pine Rock, Ogle, Illinois, United States.^[1]
