Biography
John Ford is a part of US Black heritage.
John Bell Ford was born in 1852 in Alexandria, Virginia, his father, William Ford, was 38 and his mother, Henrietta Bruce, was 33. He married Charlotte A Willis on June 10, 1875, in his hometown. They had 12 children in 23 years. He died on December 12, 1932[1], in Fairfax, Virginia, at the age of 80.

John Bell Ford is a direct male descendant, a grandson, of West "Duncan" Ford 1784-1863. West Ford is a former slave and may be the son of President George Washington, or one of his brothers.
