Jewell was born 31 Dec 1904 in Ada, Pontotoc, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory[2], the daughter of Robert Ford and Sallie Carney. Jewell passed away 29 Mar 1993 at Catoosa, Rogers, Oklahoma. She is buried at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.[3]
