Lillian Virginia (aka Virginia L.) Ford was born on 22 June 1919 in Alabama, United States.[1] She was the daughter of Gammon Payne Ford and Nettie Louise Barrow (1895 - 1984).[2][3]
A 1920 United States Census record was not yet located for this family.
Virginia was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1930 United States Census. They were living in Clifton, Wilcox County, Alabama.[4]
Lillian Virginia Ford and Floyd Collier Twilley were married in 01 June 1936 in Wilcox County, Alabama.[5] Virginia's mother and sisters visited with her in September 1938 according to a brief mention which was published in the Wilcox Progressive Era.
[6] There were other such visits documented in that newspaper for a couple of years.
A 1940 United States Census record has not yet been located.
Virginia Ford and John August Tupkelewicz were married on 02 September 1947 in Selma, Dallas County, Alabama.[7] They were the parents of at least 2 children.[8]
When the 1950 United States Census was taken, they were living in Richmond County, New York where John was in the Armed Forces. Virginia was a sheet metal worker.[9]
Virginia L. (Ford) Tupkelewicz died on 17 August 2000 in Panama City, Bay County, Florida at the age of 81.[1][8] Her burial location, if any, is unknown at this time.
