OBITUARY - The Gadsden Times, Gadsden, Alabama Thursday, April 16, 1981, page 8 Thomas Clayton Ford, age 77, Noojin Street, Attalla, Alabama, died Wednesday at a local hospital. Funeral service 2 p.m. Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Attalla and burial Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Survived by wife, Mrs. Vergie Ford; son, Jack Ford, Jacksonville, Florida; step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, Ashville, AL; sister, Mrs. Bertha Colvin, Gadsden; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several step-grandchildren. He was a native of St. Clair Co., AL and a resident of Etowah County most of his life. The body will remain at the resident until the hour of service. Collier-Butler Funeral Home, Gadsden, in charge of arrangements.
