Biography

Margaret Mulleary née Ford and her husband, John Mulleary, lived in the parish of Kiltoghert and county of Leitrim when his children, John,^[1] Margaret,^[2] and Patrick,^[3] were born in 1864, 1865, and 1873, respectively. Margaret, jun., was born in Summerhill townland, and John in Lisseeghan.

In 1883, Margaret's children, Thomas (age 23), Bernard (19), Patrick (14), and Margaret (11), emigrated to Canada.^[4]

Research notes

• The estimated year of birth is based on Margaret Mulleary, née Ford, having attained the age of twenty-five years when her son, Thomas, was born c.1860.^[4]
