Biography
James Fogarty has Irish ancestors.
James was born in 1929. He was the son of Michael Fogarty and Helen Fromerth.[1]
James graduated from Manchester High School in 1946. That June he enlisted in the US Navy. He served with the submarine force Atlantic mid Pacific fleets and retired from military service in May 1968.
James married Faustina A. Fournier, May 10, 1952, in Norfolk, Virginia.
James was a patient at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, for some time before he died there Monday, May 14, 2001. He was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic.[2] He was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, New London County, Connecticut, USA.[3]
