William Leland Flowers was born on February 8, 1897, in Brundidge, Alabama to Charles Gaston Flowers and Anna Bell Roberts. He had several siblings, including John Gary, Irma, Richard Harvey, and Charles Wesley. William Leland lived in various places throughout his life, including Grimes and Searcy in Arkansas.

On September 29, 1925, William Leland married Celeste Orman in Arkansas. The couple settled in Earle, Arkansas where they lived for many years. William Leland’s father, Charles Gaston Flowers passed away on July 15, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee and his mother Anna Bell Roberts passed away on October 19, 1952, in Wynne, Arkansas.

William Leland Flowers passed away on June 8, 1975, in Earle, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was buried in Marion, Arkansas. He is remembered as a beloved husband and brother.
