Thomas Fitzwater, son of Thomas and Mary (Cheney) Fitzwater was born in Hanworth Parish in Middlesex England 3-3-1673.[1] He immigrated to Pennsylvania as a child with his parents, arriving aboard Welcome in 1682.
Thomas had six children with his first wife, whose name is not known:[2]
Thomas announced for the second time his intention to marry, as his second wife, Mary (Potts) Tyson (widow of Matthias Tyson, of Abington) 10-25-1732 at the Abington Monthly Meeting.
He died about 1748 and in his will dated 16 November 1742 he named his son John Fitzwater executor and made the following bequeathments:[3]
Witness to the will were: George Fitzwater, William Coleman and Hannah Coleman.
