Biography
Hugo Fitz-Hugo, thegn of Chafecombe, was born about 980, Normandy, France,[citation needed] and died about 1050, Chafecombe, Devon.[citation needed]
This man has been incorrectly identified with Hugh of Exeter, confidante of Queen Emma of Normandy[1][2][3] but he had nothing to do with Chafecombe.
