Biography

Elisha Fish was born in 1782. He was the son of Thomas Fish and Lucy Morgan ^[1].

Elisha married Mary "Polly" Chesebrough. ^[2] Dec 3 1804 Stonington, Connecticut ^[3]. Mary was born Aug 29 1783 in Stonington, Connecticut. After Elisha's death, Mary married (2nd) Rev. Elihu Chesebrough ^[4]

Elisha and Mary 'Polly' had 4 daughters.

Elisha Fish was a private in the 25th Connecticut Infantry and died in Naval action on Lake Erie, New York in August 1814 ^[3].
