In April 2024 I just started unpacking some genealogy related notes etc. mostly from my Aunt Margaret Bark b. 1924 and d. 1998. In 1991 she had researched, without success, what happened to her grandfather William Bark who in 1884 left his wife and 4 kids in England to go to Australia and was never heard from again. Myself and my 3 siblings only have the vaguest memory of this situation. I'm guessing it was a dark chapter but am very curious if there's any information about William.
