I knew Judge Bowman and both his wives very well. They lived right around the corner from us in Mt. Vernon. I think his name really was Squire Felix. He always went by either Felix Bowman or S.F. Bowman. He was Rockcastle County Judge. He is buried by his first wife, Ida, at the Mt. Vernon Elmwood Cemetery. His second wife, Pearl, is in the same cemetery, by her first husband, Charles Dailey. I think the only son of Felix and Ida was Dwight who died in the 50's.
