Biography

Thama FANN, daughter of John Garrison Fann and Sallie Ophelia Underwood, was born 18 Apr 1906 in Cumberland County, North Carolina.[1]

In the 1910 census, we find her in her father's Pearces Mill, Cumberland County household, age 4, along with her mother Sallie, her brother Hamer, and her maternal grandmother, Sarah Underwood.[2] She again shows up in her parents household, now in Black River, Cumberland County, in 1920,[3] and for the 1930 census at the same place.[4]

Marriage

Thama married Henry T AUTRY 21 Dec 1933 in Cumberland, North Carolina.[5][6][7]

They had made their household in Eastover Township, Cumberland County by 1940.[8]

Death

Thama died 13 Dec 1988 in Clinton, Sampson, North Carolina, residing in Stedman, Cumberland County.[1] She is buried at Autry Family Cemetery Autryville, Sampson County, North Carolina. Refer to Find A Grave: Memorial #33102903, which has a gravestone that reflects both her given and maiden name Thama Fann, 18 Apr 1906-13 Dec 1988, and that of her husband, Henry T Autry, 2 Jan 1914-27 Oct 1984.
