Biography

U.S. Southern Colonies Project logo
William Fann was a Virginia colonist.

His parents were never married. He and his 4 siblings were all born out of wedlock and used their mother's surname, Fann. They could not use their father Edward Allgood's name as he was married to another woman.

The estate file of his brother John, who died in 1797, seems to support to Willie was alive as late as 1839, the probate settlement document date.[1]
