Biography
Arthur is mentioned as the 2nd son of Thomas Fairclough in his father's 1644 will. At the writing of the will in 1644, he was still a child. He was named after his grandfather. His birth and death dates are not confirmed though it an Arthur Fairclough was buried in Wigan on 11 Jan 1683 according to the Bishop's Transcripts Reference NumberDrl/2/520. Hard to say this is the same Arthur.
