Are you interested in more information about the Wootton Family? If you look at our connection we are 15 Degrees apart.
In the spring of 2022 I was contacted through WT by Christine Simpson a descendant of Charles Wootton (my 3 x Great Uncle) and Matilda Lynex.
Charles Wootton's sister Mary Ann is my 3 x GGM. They are both children of Philip Wootton 1787 and Mary Starkey.
Philip Wootton was one of the 11 children of Thomas Wootton and Nancy/Ann Stackhouse.
He also had a brother Samuel born 1785 who married Elizabeth Briscoe.
Christine the person who contacted me has 2 very detailed trees for some of the descendants of Thomas Wootton and Nancy/Ann Stackhouse. Especially for the descendants of Samuel and Elizabeth including a branch that moved to the USA.
I am also connected to a 5 x great son of Samuel and Elizabeth thru a marriage of a great aunt to a 3 x great son of Samuel and Elizabeth.
Her trees are not online, she sent me scans of the trees. I think they are probably quite accurate. They were researched by a 5 x GGD of Samuel and Elizabeth.
I am in the middle of a cemetery project that will need at least 12 months to finish.
If you would like to have the scans of the trees I can send them to you
Hi and thanks for your comments. Currently I am working on family NZ profiles with sources. I'm interested in others family trees but don't want to overwhelm myself, so for now I'll continue with family within seven degrees. Kind regards Carol
I noticed you answered this week’s question about New Zealand. The New Zealand Project is being re-activated. Would you like to be a member and have a badge? If so, please answer this post or message me. I’ll add your badge and also send you the link to the Kiwi Crew Discord server. There is no obligation to take part in challenges, but you may like to work with others to create quality New Zealand profiles. We’re a really friendly bunch.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
