Jane (Evans) Bauer was born on 17 Mar 1899 in Wycarbah, Queensland, Australia. She was the daughter of Thomas Evans and Ada Curtis. ^[1] She may also have been known as Amy Jane. ^[2]

Her mother died in 1912 when she was 13 years old. She was the sole beneficiary of the will. Her brother-in-law Randall Stifford Scott was her guardian until she reached the age of 21. ^[3]

She married George Frederick Bauer on 13 Nov 1918 in Mount Morgan, Queensland, Australia. George was a Policeman. ^[4]

Jane Evans Bauer died on 29 Nov 1974 in Caboolture, Queensland and was buried in the Caboolture Cemetery, Caboolture, Queensland. ^{[5] [6]}

In the Will of ADA ANNIE EVANS, late of Kabra, near Rockhampton, in the State of Queensland, Widow (in the said Will described as wife of Thomas Evans), deceased.

NOTICE is hereby given that, after the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the publication hereof, application will be made to this Honourable Court that Administration of the personal estate of the abovenamed ADA ANNIE EVANS, deceased, with her Will, may be granted to RANDALL STIFFORD SCOTT, of Mount Morgan, in the State of Queensland, Miner, the duly elected Guardian of JANE EVANS, of Mount Morgan aforesaid. Spinster, a Minor of the age of thirteen years, and the Universal Legatee under the Will of the said deceased for the use and benefit of the said JANE EVANS, and until she shall attain the age of Twenty-one years, no Executor having been appointed by the said Will.

Any person interested who desires to object to the application, or to be heard upon it, may file a Caveat in the Registry at Rockhampton, at any lime before the grant is made.
