August Epler was born in 1832 in Germany.[1] He immigrated to America in 1850 via the Port of New York.[2] August "Eppler" arrived on the ship Zampa, which departed Europe via the Port of Havre, France and arrived on May 27, 1850.
August Epler was married to Hannah Derr. The family made their home in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania.[3]
August Epler and Hannah Derr were named the parents of Barbara Epler in 1890.[4]
August Epler passed away in 1892.[5] He is buried at the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
