Hi Jane,

I wrote to you recently as part of the England Project's six-monthly check-in with our project members. I haven't heard back from you. I hope you are well.

If you could please drop me a quick note to confirm whether you are still interested in the project and wish to remain an active member, that would be very helpful.

If we do not hear from you within the next 2 weeks, we will assume you are no longer active in the England Project and remove you from our list of project members. You would be most welcome to re-apply to join the project at a later time by signing-up on the project’s G2G welcome post.

Many thanks!

Hi Jane,

Thanks for demonstrating the table layouts on some of your Holloway profiles! I've known from previous Mediawiki experience over a decade ago that it was possible and have been meaning to re-learn how to do it in between the research sessions and source dumps I've been doing.

Cheers, Joe

Thanks Joe! I love the look of the table layouts.

Are you happy to stay in your current project teams? Which teams are you most active in? Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?

Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future?

Good Evening Amelia,

I have enjoyed being part of the England project and learned so much from my coordinator, Heather. I have stepped back from actively working on the latest team that I joined. I was encouraged to work on my extended family and that is what I have been doing. I am happy to stay on the teams that I have been assigned to and look forward to being more active.

Thank you all so much for all that you are doing to make these trees as accurate as possible.

Jane

Hi Jane,

It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around

First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?

Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Lizzie, Amy, Joan

England Project Leaders

Good Evening Lizzie,

I am well. Thank you for asking. I have had a few dental problems. The dental problems caused my vertigo to flare up. I recently had the tooth pulled so I'm hoping that I am on the road to recovery.

I am enjoying working on the England project very much. I love my team and Heather has been very helpful. I finished my first profile and I am almost finished with the second.

I did listen to the Discord discussion a couple of times but most of the conversations did not relate to what I was working on.

Thank you,

Jane

Hi Jane,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).
