TUSCALOOSA Charles Wesley "Bootsie" Elliott, age 77, of Tuscaloosa, died April 26, 2006 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Rev. Ed King officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. His parents, David Wilburn and Vivian Elliott, and brothers, Raymond and Otis Elliott, all of Moundville, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Elliott; daughters, Cheri Shirley (Robert) and Nancy Elliott; son, Charles Scott Elliott (Perin); sister, Annie Mary Dowdy; brother, John C. Elliott (Frances); grandchildren, Bobbi Simmons (Don), Ashley Robertson, and Austin Wesley Elliott; great grandchildren, Anne Marie and John Wesley; and his faithful companion, Scooby. Granddaddy, we already miss you so much. You were such a blessing to us all. Pallbearers will be Robert Shirley, Russell Willcutt, Louis (Buster) King, Ronnie Mitchell, Don Simmons and Jonathan Jones.Honorary pallbearers are employees of Warrior Asphalt and employees of Vinson Guard Service.
