Morton Elliott was born about 1863 in Kenton, Kentucky, United States, son of William Sylvester Elliott (1827–1919) and Eliza Jane Rich (~1830–~1892).^{[1] [2] [3]}

In 1880, Morton (16)'s occupation was 'at home'. He was living in Stevenson, Kenton with his mother, Eliza (50); and his siblings, William (52), Robbert (30), Miliard (24), Stephen (21), Lewis (15), and Addie Elliot (8). ^[4]

Morton (25) married Lucrecia Elizabeth Mileham (25) (born on 17 March 1864 in Kentucky; daughter of Alfred Mileham and Mary Elizabeth (Elliott) Mileham) on 26 June 1889 in Hamilton County, Ohio. Their known daughter was Goldie M. Elliot (1893–1917).

In 1900, Morton (36)'s occupation was 'farmer'. He was living in Stephenson, Kenton with his wife, Lucrasia (36); their daughter, Goldie (6); and his mother, Mary E Mileham (66). ^[3]

In 1920, Morton (56)'s occupation was 'farmer'. He was living in Stephenson, Kenton with and his brother, Stephen R (60). ^[5]

In 1930, Morton (66)'s occupation was 'farmer'. He was living in Manchester, Dearborn with his wife, Loucrecie (66); and Mary Atherton (71, sister-in-law). ^[6]

Morton died on 14 May 1938 in Manchester Township, Dearborn, aged 74. He was buried in Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery, Fiskburg, Kenton County, Kentucky.^{[7] [8]}
