Biography

Alice was born in 1925.^[1] She was the daughter of Herbert Elgot and Leona Levy.^[2]

Alice married Loren Bruce Waldie before 1949.^[3] She was widowed in 1950.^[4] She remarried to Virgil Spilker.^[5]

Alice died in 2013.^[1][6] She was buried at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.^[7]

Alice E. Spilker

Alice was born on April 20, 1925 in New York City to Herbert and Leona Elgot. She died peacefully on November 25, 2013 in Federal Way, Washington. She lived a life filled with courage, determination, and an unwavering commitment to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil Spilker, her daughter Cathy (Greg) Cobb, her son Gary (Karen) Spilker, three grandchildren, Lauren (Aaron) Tobiason, Stewart Spilker, and Karena Spilker, her great granddaughter Miranda Tobiason, and her sister Florence Silver. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loren Waldie, her brother Calvin Elgot, and her sister Muriel Epstein.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Marlatt Funeral Home at 713 Central Avenue, Kent, WA 98032.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice or to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.^[5]
