Biography

Peter was born in 1769 in Lunenburg.[1]

He married Elizabeth Whitman in 1794.[2]

Peter Eisenhour, farmer, appears in the 1838 census of West Chester, Lunenburg County with a family consisting of 1 male under fourteen, 2 males above fourteen years of age and not heads of families, 1 female above fourteen years of age, total 5 in the family including himself.

Peter died 27 Dec 1858 in Chester, Lunenburg County. The 15 Jan 1859 edition of the New Brunswick Courier reported: "d. Chester, N.S., 27th ult., Peter Eisenhaur, age 91, left 9 children, 73 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren."
