Biography

Dorothea Sophia Eggert was born in 1816, the daughter of Daniel Eggert and Maria Redmann.

She married Friedrich Wilhelm Schultz in about 1835. They emigrated to South Africa in 1858. On the Brandenburg Emigration Consent and ship's passenger list her maiden name was recorded Eckert, that was interchangeable with Eggert.

She passed away in 1888.
