Biography

Emma (Eggert) Pletzer has German Roots.

Emma was born about 1863 in Canada West. Her parents had immigrated to Canada likely about 1862 as her older siblings were born in Germany. In the 1881 census Emma (age 18) was in West Wawanosh, Huron, Ontario, Canada.^[1]

Before 1885, Emma married Henry Pletzer. They had a son William Henry Platzer in 1885 in Hullett, Huron, Ontario, Canada.^[2] They had five children. In the 1901 census Emma (age 37) was the wife of Henry Platzer in Muskoka & Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada.^[3] In the 1911 census Emma was the wife of Henry Platzer in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada.^[4]

She passed away in 1926. ^[5] Emma was mentioned on a memorial in Orange Valley Road Cemetery, Parry Sound District, Ontario, Canada with a death date of 19 September 1926.^[6]
