Caroline's maiden name was Stone, as per the sources on her profile
Could you please amend her Last Name at Birth or add me to her Trusted List so I can make the change myself.
Thanks Steve
These problems with fake ancestries are one of the reasons why reliable sources are required for pre-1700 profiles. Without reliable sources you can't tell that a lineage is correct. Please see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Reliable_Sources_for_Pre-1700_Profiles (which includes pages for reliable sources in France and Canada). This is very important. This particular family group (Jacques) has been the subject of Anjou frauds and will have to be sorted out; if the relationships are not confirmed by reliable sources, they may have to be removed (because of Honor Code point 2: Accuracy).
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I accidentally noticed the family group around Deslauriers-227 and I am very concerned. There is a Fichier Origine (a reliable source) that confirms the names of the parents and grandparents of Deslauriers-222 but it does not go further, which means, there is no source for the parents of Deslauriers-227, let alone further ancestors. The family you've connected him to is unsourced and is probably tainted by the work of Gustav Anjou, a notorious author of fake genealogies. The names are familiar to his work and they've linked to lineages he's known to have produced. (continued for lack of space)

As you may have heard, WikiTree is having a source-a-thon Oct 4 - Oct 7. Whether or not you decide to participate in it is up to you. If you want to help the county Kerry project, it would be great if you could put the unsourced Kerry category on any Kerry profiles you come across that need sources. Thank you!
Very well done on your making 1,000 or more contributions to WikiTree in June 2019! We commend and appreciate all of your time and effort in helping to grow and perfect our Shared Tree. Keep up the great work!

I also noticed you have created a number of pre-1700 profiles without adding a source or sources. Although it is tempting to create profiles and go back and add sources later, this is always a bad idea. Particularly with pre-1700 profiles it is essential that at least one reliable source is added at the time the profile is created.
Thank you.
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz! Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.
