As of 1950 he was the Mayor of Corowa, a town on the border of Victoria and New South Wales. ^[3]

He passed away 3 March 1952 age 69 at Rutherglen, Victoria. He was a warehouse manager. ^{[4] [5]}

Research Notes

"George EBERLE" as the father's name on death registration could just be a false name to avoid mention of illegitimacy.

The birth registration gives Wodonga; the more specific location Bonegilla comes from the death registration.

"Nolan" on the birth registration could be a transcription error for "Norman"; or perhaps he changed his middle name.
