Just wanted to give you a heads up. I've been doing quite a bit of research on the Kentucky Becketts so you will see me updating some of those profiles that you manage.

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.

Have you ever considered participating in one of WikiTree's Connect-A-Thons? It's a great opportunity to add new profiles, whether they are extended family members or someone who fits into of one of your projects. The next one will run from Friday, April 22nd to Monday, April 25th.
If you are interested in participating, you can sign up in the G2G forum registration post at https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1392037/have-you-registered-for-the-april-2022-connect-a-thon-yet?show=1395381#c1395381 and add another badge to your collection. They ask you to join a team, so I invite you to join the Mid-Atlantic Team since I notice your grandmother Genevieve's roots are in New York. You are not limited to adding profiles for only this region, of course. Like you, most of us have roots in many other regions and countries. Hope you'll consider joining the fun!
We all appreciate your efforts to make our Shared Tree the best it can be.
Keep up the great work and THANK YOU!!
Shannon

Anywho. What brought your work to my attention is the work that I do ensuring that profiles with the project box for the Virginia Project are managed by the Virginia Project, if appropriate. When "Unsourced" is removed from a template, but "|Virginia" remains, it becomes a the project box for the Virginia Project... and most often, the profile does not need project management.
So... Please remove the entire Unsourced template when you source a profile.
Thanks!
Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Thank you for being a Wikitreer,
Guy Constantineau - Wikitree leader
Your work is appreciated. Thanks Guy Constantineau

Isaac, Bennett and Caleb Driggers (brothers?) were buying land in Pike AL in the late 1830s.
Thank you for the indepth info on Emmanuel Rodriguez, also my ancestor. It is so similar to my own conclusions, I felt like I wrote it.
Tim Hashaw has a book, "Birth of Black America." He mentions that Manuel Driggers fostered two daughters of Margaret Cornish (& probably Robert Swete), ancestors the mixed-race Cornish and Sweat lines, more ancestors of mine.
My ancestor is Isaac W. Driggers b. abt 1788, living in the Little Pedee area. Driggers applied for a passport from the state of Georgia to travel through the Creek Indian lands in 1810 ("Passports of Southeastern Pioneers, 1770-1823" page 274)
I am looking for his parentage, if you ever trip over an Isaac.
