Biography
When Anne Durbin was born on June 15, 1861, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, [1]her father, Mathias, was 37, and her mother, Anna, was 34. She married Jacob Thome on May 3, 1881, in Mitchell, Iowa. They had twins during their marriage and she died as a young mother on March 14, 1882, in Stacyville, Iowa, at the age of 20, and was buried there. Her daugher Gertrude died[2] and the twin Mathew lived.
Anna died on 14 March 1882 and was buried in Stacyville, Mitchell County, Iowa, United States.[3]
