Biography
Jean Louis, né le 19 décembre 1765 à Châteauguay, Province de Québec. Fils de Claude Duranceau et Marie Madeleine Duquet, il a été baptisé le 22 du même mois en l'église Saint-Joachim.
Il épouse Madeleine Reid, fille de Pierre et Marie Thérése Patenaude, le 25 août 1789, église Saint-Joachim, Châteauguay. Il y a eu dispense du 3e degré de parenté.
De ce mariage, il y aura 16 enfants.
Il décède le 29 avril 1835, à l'âge de 69 ans. Son inhumation a eut lieu le lendemain au cimetière Saint-Joachim de Châteauguay.

I also attached the birth record for the second Jean Louis to this profile before I realized there were two of them. I think the easiest thing to do is change this birthdate to 12/19/1765.

Randy, in this family there were TWO Jean Louis'. The first one was born on this date and died 4 months later. The second one is the one who married Madeleine Ride/Reid and had all the children. He wa born 12-19-1765. Darn these families who named multiple children the same names. I'm attaching a picture of the family record for your review.
