Biography

Robert Dunsmuir is/was a significant British Columbian.

Robert Dunsmuir was a Scottish-Canadian coal mine developer, owner and operator, railway developer, and member of the British Columbia Legislature.

He was born in 1825, the son of James Dunsmuir and Elizabeth Hamilton.

He passed away in 1889[1] and was buried in the Ross Bay Cemetery, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
