William Morton was born in 1851 the son of Thomas Morton Duckett and Phillis Lucinda Strange.

William, son of Thomas Morton Duckett & Phillis Lucinde Strange, was born on 13 June 1851 and baptised on 11 July 1851 in St Lawrence, Jersey.^[1]

In the 1871 census, William (age 19) was the son of Lucy Phillis Duckett in St Helier, Jersey.^[2]

William (age 32), son of Thomas Duckett, married Sarah Annie Macwilliams on 9 September 1882 in Secunderabad, Madras, India.^[3]

In the 1891 census, William (age 39) was the head of household in Aldershot, Aldershot, Hampshire, England.^[4]

In Oct 1916 William was in a military record. He was in the Army Pay Dept.^[5]

William died on 10 April 1922 in Italy and his estate passed probate on 3 July 1922 in London, England.^[6]

William died on 10 April 1922 and was buried in Cimitero Evangelico degli Allori, Florence, Città Metropolitana di Firenze, Toscana, Italy.^[7]
