He died on February 23, 1805, at the age of about sixty years old. He was buried on February 24, 1805, in Old Saint Ferdinand Cemetery in Florissant, St Louis, Missouri. [4][5]Of note, all burials from this cemetery were removed in 1900 and relocated to either Sacred Heart Cemetery or New Saint Ferdinand Cemetery - there are no known records of this relocation and thus it is impossible to tell his current burial location.
