Claude Dubreauil was hospitalized in Hôtel-Dieu in Québec city on 17 Sept 1730, and died there on 10 October of the same year.
He was buried in their cemetery on the 11th.[12]
His contract of marriage with Marguerite Berger was cancelled according to most sources, but his marriage contract to Anne Jousselot names him widower of both Élisabeth Boesmé and Marguerite Berger. Did he in fact marry Marguerite? There is no trace of such a marriage. Unknown where the error may stem from.
