Biography

When Jessie (Wood?) Dubreuil was born in 1862 in Canada, her father, Joseph, was 23, and her mother, Mary, was 22; she immigrated to America between 1864 and 1876.^[1] She married Augustin Garney (1858-) on February 4, 1882, in Warren, Massachusetts^[2] and they had two children together:

• Emma M. Garney (1882–1913)
• Peter August Garney (1883–1955)^[3]

Augustin died sometime after 1886^[4] and Jessie remarried to Thomas John Monahan (1863–1917) in 1894.^[5] They had two children:

• Alice Jeanne Monahan (1894–1985)
• Irene C. Monahan (1897–1952)

She died on May 24, 1936, in Little Falls, Minnesota,^[6] at the age of 74, and was buried there.^[7]
