Debra and Peter, Thanks...I looked quickly the other day when you commented, and didn't remember my original statement about whether or not Driggers was her maiden name. Now that I fully read all the comments, I will try to look into it soon. This definitely gives new perspective.

I’m a descendant of Nancy Driggers, and I wish I knew who her parents were. Judging from the many DNA matches I have from members of the Driggers family, though, I feel pretty certain that “Driggers” was her maiden name. As far as I know, I have no other Driggers lines that would account for those matches. Some of my ThruLines on Ancestry suggest that I’m descended from the Lastingers, too, so I’m focusing my research on that line as well, as they married into the Driggers line at least twice, apparently. It might also be a good idea to add Nancy’s profile to the Driggers One Name Study here on WikiTree. I would do it myself, but it should probably be done by the profile manager.,

Hi Debra,

I have not done much research on Nancy. The person that I originally got her name from believed that was actually the name of her 1st husband. I believe I did try to find more info on her, but it's been years. I very much appreciate you deferring to me for the One Name Study, but feel free to go ahead. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to put to this research at the moment.

I'm pretty sure I have you in my DNA matches somewhere...your name looks familiar.
