Frank Murray Dixon was an American Democratic politician. He served as the 40th governor of Alabama from 1939 to 1943.
Frank Murray Dixon was born in Alameda County, California in 1892. He was the son of Frank and Laura Murray Dixon.[1]
Frank Dixon served in the US Army during World War I. [2]About 1927, Frank Murray Dixon was appointed to the personal military staff of Gov. David Bibb Graves as Aide-de-Camp with the rank of Brev. Lieutenant Colonel in the Alabama State Militia. [3]
He married Juliet Perry.[citation needed]
He died in 1965.[4]
