Biography
Giuseppa di Rao, the daughter of Calogero di Rao and Lucia Catalinotto, is born and baptized on 15 March 1831 in Corleone. Her godparents are Maestro Domenico la Sala and Maria, the wife of Francesco Vintaloro.[1]
Giuseppa is confirmed in the church on 19 June 1838. Her sponsor is Caterina di Rao (potentially her older sister?). [2]
Giuseppa is 21 when she marries Giuseppe di Miceli, the son of Bernardo di Miceli and Orsola Gallo, on 28 April 1852 in Corleone. Her father has passed and her mother is still living.[3]
